Walks
Follow the historic walking tour around the town learn some of the early history at the museum Visit the old cemetery and see the grave of the police constables shot by the bushrangers.

Apart from the many Art and Craft galleries and antique shops to browse in Braidwood village there are several walks with stunning views of the town.

  • Platypus can be seen in Flood Creek on Bedervale propertyand in Monkittee Creek in Bi-Centennial Park, an area restored to native vegetation by the local Land Care group.

  • The RSL club has a 9 hole golf course, and other sporting facilities. Dining is a dream with a wide selection of restaurants and specialty food shops.

  • There are many caterers available for functions or weddings and a local bus service for groups.
